Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant has been convicted under Section 354-D & 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and under Section 12 of Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three years and to pay fine amount of Rs. 4,000/- and in default thereof to suffer further simple imprisonment for six months. The fine amount is paid. Learned counsel further submitted that applicant has been released on bail by the Trial by SONALI SATISH KILAJE Date:

Learned APP strongly objected to allow the application. 3.
I have heard both the learned counsel. The sentenced imposed 1/2
S.S.Kilaje 7-IA-4926-2024.doc on the applicant is short term sentence. During trial applicant was on bail. He has not misused the liberty. It may take time to dispose of the appeal and I pass following order.
ORDER
(i) The application is allowed.
(ii) The sentence imposed on the applicant is hereby suspended pending disposal of the appeal, subject to the applicant furnishing a P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.
(iii) The bail bonds to be furnished before the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pune.
(iv) The Criminal interim application is disposed of. ( SHIVKUMAR DIGE, J.) 2/2
