Heard Mr Mithilesh Mishra, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant and Mr Amit Palkar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/ State.

By this application, the applicant seeks interim bail in connection with CR No.15 of 2022, registered with the AntiTerrorist Squad, Kalachowki Unit, Mumbai, to enable the applicant to attend the wedding of his sister and perform his duties as her brother.

The learned Counsel, appearing on behalf of the applicant, submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the crime and has been languishing in jail since 2022. Although the charge sheet has been filed, the charges are yet to be framed. Further, the learned Counsel, on instructions, submits that after attending the wedding rituals, the applicant will surrender to the jail authorities on the morning of 17 December 2024. He also submits that the applicant undertakes to surrender his passport, provide his residential and contact information, and abide by any conditions this Court imposes. 4.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/ State, on instructions, expresses the prosecution's no-objection to granting the applicant temporary bail for a limited duration subject to imposing appropriate conditions. 5.

Considering the circumstances on record, especially the fact that charges are yet to be framed and the prosecution has expressed no objection to granting temporary bail to the

applicant, the application is allowed in the following terms: (i) The applicant, Amarjeet Singh S/o.

Kuldeep Singh, shall be released on interim bail in CR No.15 of 2022, registered with the Anti-Terrorist Squad, Kalachowki Unit, Mumbai, upon furnishing a cash surety of Rs.2,00,000/- from 12 December 2024 to 17 December 2024.

(ii) The applicant shall surrender his passport before the investigating officer.

(iii) The applicant shall provide the investigating officer with his proposed residential address and cell number.

(iv) The applicant shall surrender to the jail authorities on or before 17 December 2024.

(v) The applicant, himself or through any other person, shall not tamper with the evidence or influence witnesses.
