This is an Application for condonation of delay of 53 days in filing the Appeal challenging the judgment and order dated 20th June 2024 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge-Malegaon, Nashik in Sessions Case No.50 of 2017. The Applicant was convicted for the commission of offence mainly under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ("IPC") and was sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for life. 2.
Learned counsel for the Applicant submitted, that Satish Sangar
6-IA-5144-2024.odt the Applicant is in custody since 2017. He is in poor financial difficulty and therefore, he had sent the Appeal through Jail. Accordingly, Bench of this Court has appointed Shri.Ganesh Gole to represent the Applicant / Appellant in this case. 3.
Considering the situation, Mr.Ganesh Gole submitted, that delay may be condoned. We have considered his submission. In the interest of justice, the delay needs to be condoned.

Learned APP does not seriously oppose grant of this Application. Hence, following order:-
O R D E R
(i) The delay of 53 days, in filing the Appeal, is condoned.
(ii) The Appeal be proceeded further.
