By this application, Applicant is seeking permission to travel abroad.

It is contention of learned counsel for the Applicant that Applicant wish to travel to Oman from 20th December, 2024 to 29th December, 2024 for family purpose. Hence, requested to allow the application.

Learned APP strongly objected to allow the application on the ground that the Applicant is convicted, and if he is allowed to travel abroad, he may abscond. Hence, requested to reject the application.

I have heard both learned counsel.

Applicant is convicted by the learned Sessions Judge, Greater Bombay in Sessions Case No. 740 of 2009. The Applicant has filed appeal against the said conviction, which is pending before this Court. Applicant has roots in India and he is citizen of India. 6.

In view of above, I pass following order:

ORDER

i. Application is allowed.

ii. Applicant is permitted to travel to Oman from 20th December, 2024 to 29th December, 2024.

iii. Applicant shall furnish stay details and his contact at Oman to the Investigating Officer. Application stands disposed of.
