This is an application for condonation of the delay of 8 years and 19 days in preferring the Appeal against the Judgment and order dated 30.09.2016 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sangli, in Sessions Case No.232 of 2014, convicting the applicant U/s.302 of the I.P.C.

25-ia-5352-24 He had to request the Legal Services Authority of this Court to provide the services of a legal aid counsel. Some time was also spent in appointing the advocate and collecting necessary documents. Therefore, there is delay.

Though, the delay is inordinate, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and in the interest of justice, the delay in preferring the Appeal is condoned. The Appeal be processed further.
