This is a Petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 for extension of time to pass and publish the Arbitral Award.

Learned Counsel informed that only the award remains to be published. They by consent seek an extension of three months time. Given that the Arbitration proceeding has been completed and only award remained to be passed, I deem it fit to extend the time as prayed for. The present Petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads as under: "a. That this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to extend the mandate of the Ld. Sole Arbitrator for a period of three months from date of the Order or such other period as deemed fit by the Hon'ble Court;" Shubham 1/2
