This is a Petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act").

Today, when the matter is called out, parties jointly request for a short extension of mandate of the arbitral tribunal by four weeks since they are on the verge of a settlement. If the mandate is so extended, they submit, they will be able to place their settlement before the arbitral tribunal and conclude the disputes between them. ASHWINI JANARDAN VALLAKATI 3.
