This is a Petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

By an Order dated January 21, 2025, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended by a period of four weeks to enable the parties to tender their terms of settlement before the Arbitral Tribunal and this Petition was disposed of.

3.

Today, when the matter is called out, the parties seek an extension of further one week since the dispute has indeed been settled and they would need to present the same to the Arbitral Tribunal to have it converted into a consent award.

In these circumstances, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal stand extended until March 25, 2025.
