This is a Petition taken out for substitution of an Arbitrator who had been appointed by a Learned Single Judge of this Court vide order dated February 28, 2023 by which a Learned Advocate of this Court had been appointed as an Arbitrator. This Petition has been necessitated by reason of such Learned Sole Arbitrator being elevated as a Judge of the High Court. Today, when the matter is called out, the parties jointly leave it to the Court to appoint an appropriate Arbitrator.

In these circumstances, Mr. Rubin Vakil, Learned Advocate is hereby appointed as a Sole Arbitrator to take over the matter on the terms and conditions mentioned in the order dated February 28, 2023. The parties January 8, 2025 Shraddha
17-ARBP-553-2024.doc shall transfer all the proceedings that had been filed before the erstwhile Learned Arbitrator to the new Arbitrator hereby appointed. 3.
They shall approach the Learned Sole Arbitrator hereby appointed for an appointment to file an appropriate date and time, no later than January 14, 2025. The Learned Sole Arbitrator shall issue appropriate further instructions to continue with the arbitration proceedings from that stage. 4.
The Petition is hereby finally disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 5.
