It is seen from the record that by an order dated July 18, 2024, witness summons has been issued by Learned Single Judge of this Court in exercise of powers under Section 27 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. It is also seen from the record that the matter was mentioned on December 18, 2024 and the Registry was directed to issue fresh summons at the address mentioned in the bailiff's report dated December 3, 2024. 2.

Today, I am informed that the aforesaid action has not been taken as yet, but there is no clarity as to why it has not been taken. 3.

In these circumstances, fresh witness summons shall be issued returnable on March 17, 2025. The witness shall present himself before the arbitrator in response to this Court's summons. Registry to act on the basis of this order and issue the witness summons. Advocate for the Applicant shall provide all necessary information and documents to the Registry to enable compliance with this order.
