This Writ Petition has been filed seeking limited reliefs. It appears that although a representation for deciding the eligibility of the Petitioner was addressed to both the Chief Officer of MHADA and the Chief Executive Officer of the SRA, the same was received only by the office of MHADA and not by the Competent Authority of the SRA.

In this view of the matter, the Petition is disposed of with a direction that, in the event an application is made for deciding the eligibility of the Petitioner within a period of two weeks from today, the Competent Authority shall decide the same as expeditiously as Laxmi

16 WP 392-25.DOC possible and preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of the application. All contentions of the parties in that regard are expressly kept open.

The Petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs. 4.

We may also observe that the Municipal Corporation was not a necessary party to the present proceedings.
