In this group of petitions, petitioners are also impugning a notification dated 9th October 2018 issued by respondent no.2 as being ultra vires to the CGST Act and the constitution.

In none of these petitions, we are informed, notice has been issued to Learned Attorney General for India to appear in the matter. Mr. Mishra and Mr. Deshmukh, who are appearing in these petitions waive service. They shall instruct the Learned Additional Solicitor General to appear in the matter.

In cases where reply has not been filed, the same to be filed and copy served by 6th July 2024. Rejoinder, if any, to be filed and copy served by 20th July 2024.

Petitions be listed for admission on 29th July 2024. Wherever ad-interim is granted, the same to be continued until 5th August 2024.
