DATE : 04 JULY 2024 P.C. :- The grievance of the Petitioner is that though the Petitioner is selected by the Respondent - Maharashtra Housing and Development Authority (MHADA) and is placed at Serial No.7 from the Scheduled Caste category, he is not being given appointment.

8. WP 1792.24.doc given appointment because of the order passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 12893 of 2015 (Writ Petition St. No. 34286 of 2015). The only impediment in the Petitioner's way is that the ad-interim order passed in the Writ Petition filed by Respondent No.2. The Petitioner has already applied for intervention in the said Writ Petition. We are informed that the Writ Petition is pending. 3.

That being the position, we do not deem it necessary to keep the present Petition pending. It is open to the Petitioner to circulate Writ Petition No. 12893 of 2015 after notice to the parties with prayer for intervention and for vacating the stay. These applications would be considered on their own merits. 4.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
