By an order dated 5th January 2026, this Court had directed Mr. Javeed Hussain, learned Counsel who appears on behalf of the Petitioner to serve a copy of the present Writ Petition on all the Respondents and file an Affidavit-of-Service to that effect on or before 12th January 2026. 2.

Today when the matter is called out Mr. Hussain tenders an Affidavit-of-Service dated 12th January 2026. A perusal of this affidavit reveals that on 5th November 2024, his Clerk had posted an envelope to all the Respondents. The Affidavit further contains deposition of the said Clerk that since the envelopes are not returned to the office, he assumes that the same have been delivered and accordingly it is good service. As and by way of a last chance, the Petitioner is permitted to serve all the Respondents and file proper Affidavit-of-Service to that effect which shall be done on or before 16th February 2026. 4.
