The grievance of the petitioners is that they are eligible slum dwellers and their names ought to have been reflected in Annexure-II, which would be issued by respondent no. 2.

Learned counsel for respondent nos. 1 to 3-Municipal Corporation, on instructions, informs that insofar as petitioner nos. 1, 2, 3 and 7 are concerned, their names have been already included in Annexure-II. Insofar as respondent nos. 4, 5 and 6 are concerned, it is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioners that they are the legal heirs of the original eligible persons, however, there is no information/document to this effect with the respondents. 3.

In this view of the matter, we are of the opinion that insofar as petitioner nos. 4, 5 & 6 are concerned, let appropriate documents be submitted by these petitioners to the competent officers of the respondents within one week from 11 June 2025

1.WP1927_2024.DOC today and if the same are submitted, the competent officer shall consider the same and after hearing the said petitioners, take an appropriate view of the matter and inform the same to them by written communication. 4.

As noted above, there is no grievance insofar as petitioner nos. 1, 2, 3 and 7 are concerned, as their names are already included in Annexure II. Thus, keeping open all contentions of petitioner nos. 4, 5 and 6, we dispose of this petition in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
