DATED:
19th June 2024 PC:- 1.
Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
2.
The main relief in this Petition was for directions to the SRA to continue and complete the survey of the property which is the subject matter of this Petition i.e. the property which is prescribed in paragraph 2.1 of this Petition.
3.
The record bears out that the survey was commenced, discontinued and re-commenced. Mr. Patil, learned counsel for the 19th June 2024
(45) WP-2105.24.DOCX Respondents-SRA, states that the survey will once again commence and be completed within six weeks from today. 4.
Mr. Narula, learned counsel for the Petitioners, points out that the survey involves approximately 530 slums out of which about 251 slums are already surveyed.
5.
Considering this position, we direct the SRA to continue with the survey and complete the same as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 21st October 2024 i.e. within four months. 6.
The learned counsel for the Petitioners assures the Court that the Petitioners will cooperate with the survey. Besides, at the request of learned counsel for the SRA, we direct that in case the SRA requires any police assistance for completing the survey, the concerned police authorities must provide the same so that the survey is completed as expeditiously as possible. 7.
With these directions, we dispose of this Petition. Still, we direct the SRA to file and serve Affidavit of compliance on or before 25th October 2024. Mr. Patil is permitted to file the Affidavit in the Registry.
8.
The Petition is disposed of in above terms with no order as to costs.
9.
All concerned parties to act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
