The issue raised in this Writ Petition pertains to levy of excess interest and charges by Respondent Nos.3 to 5-Bank. The contention of the Petitioner is that the same is contrary to the law laid down by the Supreme Court. The Petitioner has made a representation dated 9th December 2023 to the Respondent No.2 raising this grievance. However, till today the grievance raised has not been decided. 2.

In the light of the direction we propose to pass, service of notice on Respondent Nos.2 to 5 is dispensed with. Since the representation dated 9th December 2023 has not yet been decided, we pass the following order:-

O R D E R

(i) The Respondent No.2 to decide the grievance raised by the Petitioner vide letter dated 9th December 2023 within a period of eight week's from receipt of copy of this order.

(ii) The Respondent No.2 shall hear the Petitioner and Respondent Nos.2 to 5 before deciding the grievance raised by the Petitioner vide letter dated 9th December 2023.

All contentions of the parties are expressly kept open. The Writ Petition is disposed of in above terms.
