In this Writ Petition, the challenge is to the legality and validity of the Award dated 15.09.2023 passed by the learned Presiding Officer, 7th Labour Court, Mumbai in Reference (IDA) No. 124 of 2019 to extent of granting of backwages of 25%. It is the contention of learned counsel for the Petitioner that full back wages should have been granted.

Mr. Pathak, learned counsel appearing for the Respondent states that he has also filed W. P., being W. P. (St.) No. 35217 of 2023 challenging same Award granting re-instatement with continuity of service and 25% of back wages.

In view of above position, both the learned counsel state that they will move on the administrative side for clubbing these two Writ Petitions together.

Accordingly, stand over to 15.07.2024.
