Considering the issues raised in the present petitions, we are of the clear opinion that the correct information needs to come before the Court. We, accordingly, request the learned Prothonotary and Senior Master of this Court to appoint a Court officer, who shall have a joint inspection of the temporary site 21 July 2025

18.WP2503_2025.DOC being made available to the petitioners to give complete description along with photographs and more particularly the hygiene, suitability of the site now made available for drying of clothes in Dhobi Ghat. The Court officer shall also visit the alternate site as suggested by the petitioners, in which it is stated that immediately there is no construction taking place. Let a report along with photographs be placed on record of this Court on the adjourned date of hearing. 2.

Mr. Sharma, learned advocate for the petitioners shall liaison the date and time on which the visit can take place and all the parties be accordingly informed accordingly.

The charges of the Court officer are quantified at Rs.25,000/- in the first instance, which shall be deposited by respondent no. 5 in this Court within three days from today.

We shall hear the parties after such report is placed and make an endeavour to pass appropriate orders.
