None for the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner is not interested to prosecute this petition. Hence, dismissed for want of prosecution. 2.
Later on, learned counsel for the petitioner appears and tenders apology for his absence when the matter was called out. She requests that the petition be restored. Accordingly, the petition is restored to the file of this Court. 3.
The only relief as prayed for in this petition is prayer clause (a), which reads thus:
"a) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ and/or order to direct respondent no. 2 Assistant Commissioner, M/East Ward after verifying the documents to prepare the supplementary Annexure-II and include the petitioner as eligible and same should be sent to SRA expditiously at Exhibit 'E'."

We are informed that the documents are obtained by the petitioner under
71.WP3034_2025.DOC the Right to Information Act, in which it has been revealed that the petitioner is held eligible. However, this is disputed on behalf of the Municipal Corporation. 5.
Be that as it may, if the petitioner is held eligible, we permit the petitioner to make representation to that effect, so that Supplementary Annexure-II can be issued indicating the name of the petitioner. If such application is made by the petitioner within two weeks from today, let decision on such application be taken by the Competent Officer of the Municipal Corporation in accordance with law. All contentions of the parties in that regard are expressly kept open. 6.
Disposed of in above terms. No costs.
