Having regard to the nature of amendment sought, the Interim Application is allowed. Let necessary amendment be incorporated by the learned counsel for the applicants/ petitioners within a week. Re-verification is dispensed with. The learned counsel for the petitioners shall also furnish an amended copy of the writ petition after serving it on the learned State Counsel.

Learned Addl. Government Pleader states that she may be permitted to file sur-rejoinder which will cover reply to the amended part of the writ petition as well.

The permission as prayed for is granted. The surrejoinder may be filed within three weeks. Reply to the said sur-rejoinder, if any, may be filed by the petitioners by the next date of listing.

List the writ petition on 29th August, 2024. To be listed High on Board.

The interim order granted earlier in terms of the statement made by the officer concerned, who is present in Court today as well, shall remain operative till the next date of listing.
