By an order dated 7th May 2024, this Court had expedited the hearing of the dispute filed by the Petitioners before the Co-operative Court and had requested the Co-operative Court to make an endeavor to decide the same as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from that date.

Thereafter, an application has been received from the Cooperative Court dated 29th October 2025 seeking an extension of a further period of one year for disposing of the said dispute whilst giving reasons as to why the same could not be so disposed of within the stipulated period. ------------------------------------- Order dated 4th March 2026

This Court is satisfied with the said reasons that are set out in the Application and accordingly grants a further extension to the Cooperative Court which shall endeavor to dispose of the dispute, on or before 31st March 2027.

Both parties who are present before this Court undertake that they will not seek any unnecessary adjournments in the matter before the Co-operative Court and shall render full assistance and co-operation to ensure that the matter is disposed of within this extended period.
