By this Petition, the Petitioner presses only for prayer cause (d), which reads as under:

"(d) That this Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of certiorari, or a writ in the nature of certiorari, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction of this Hon'ble Court, thereby directing the Respondent No. 2 to decide the Appeal bearing No. 2217644/2017 filed on 31/03/2017 to decide the said Appeal within a period of 3 months or in the alternative to the above, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to grant stay to the impugned order dated 18/03/2017 till such time the Appeal filed the Petitioner is finally heard and disposed off by the 2nd Respondent."

As far as prayer clauses (b) and (c) are concerned, the Petitioner does not press the same and as such, we have not gone into the merits of the said prayers.

Learned AGP, on instructions, states that the Petitioner's Appeal, which is pending before the Additional Commissioner, Konkan Division, will be decided within three months from today. Statement accepted.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in this Petition.

Petition stands disposed off accordingly.
