DATED : 2nd FEBRUARY, 2026 P.C:- The learned Additional Government Pleader Ms.Jaymala Ostwal has placed on record a communication dated 05/02/2025 received by her from Dhiraj Mirajkar, Legal Advisor, Mangrove Cell, where he admit that the Petitioner's contention is correct and the Notifications dated 18/01/2007 and 07/07/2008, which are annexed to the Petition, will have to be suitably amended to exclude the land of the Petitioner from the 'reserved forest', but it is stated that it would require steps to be taken by the State Government under the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980.
