This Writ Petition which has been disposed of by an order dated 18th September 2024 passed by this Court has been circulated on the ground that the Respondent No. 2 was by the said SHARAYU PANDURANG KHOT order to decide the proceedings filed under Section 45A of the ESI Act expeditiously, i.e. by 31st December 2024, and which could not Digitally signed by SHARAYU PANDURANG KHOT Date:

2025.01.07 17:50:16 +0530 be decided by the said date.

Accordingly, extension of time has been sought by the 1/2

Having perused the said order dated 18th September 2024, which directed the Respondent No. 2 to decide the proceedings by 31st December 2024 as aforementioned and that the Respondent No. 2 seeks further time to decide the proceedings, the extension of time is granted till 31st March 2025.

Accordingly, Respondent No. 2 shall decide the proceedings filed under Section 45A of the ESI Act by 31st March 2025.

5.

Parties shall co-operate in the hearing for compliance of this order.

6.

No further order is required in the disposed of Writ Petition.
