Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Mr. Shaikh, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners were initially held to be ineligible for inclusion in Annexure-II and the benefits of rehabilitation scheme of the Slum Rehabilitation Authority ("SRA"). 3.
Mr. Shaikh however submits that considering subsequent Government Resolutions, the Petitioners have made a representation on 8th February 2024 (Exhibit "C" at page 39 of the paper-book) to the SRA and the Petitioners will 22nd August 2024
935.WP.3953-24.DOCX be satisfied if the SRA is directed to consider and dispose of this representation by following the law and the subsequent Government Resolutions expeditiously.

Accordingly, we direct the competent official of the SRA to dispose of the Petitioners' representation dated 8th February 2024 by following the law and on its own merits as expeditiously as possible and in any event on or before 19th September 2024. The SRA/competent official of the SRA must hear the Petitioners, the Developer and the Society and pass a reasoned order.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners states that a copy of the representation will be served upon the Developer and the Society within a week from today.

If any of the parties are aggrieved by the SRA's/competent official's decision, they shall be at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law. All contentions of all parties are left open for the decision of the SRA/competent official of the SRA in the first instance.

With the above directions, this Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order for costs. All concerned to act on an authenticated copy of this order.
