Mr. Drupad Patil, learned Advocate appearing for the Respondent - BMC has sought for extension of time to pass the fresh order upon granting hearing to the Petitioner and considering the representation. 2.

This is in light of the order passed by the Division Bench (S.M. Modak and Sandeep Marne, JJ.) pronounced on 24 April 2026 whereby they have declared the Petitioners who are on regular post of Assistant Law Officer, (Grade - II) of the Corporation to be treated as regular employees from their respective dates of appointment. Further, the Petitioners have been granted all service benefits which an employee is entitled on becoming permanent. The Corporation was directed to consider the Petitioners for promotion to the post of Assistant Law Officers as and when the occasion Pallavi 1/2

Accordingly, further extension of time is granted to the Respondent - BMC to pass fresh order as had been directed vide order dated 9 February 2026 as extended by order dated 7 April 2026. 4.

The Respondent - BMC shall pass the fresh order on or before 9 June 2026.

Place the Writ Petition which has been disposed of for "Compliance" on 11 June 2026.
