2) Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that, previously the Petitioner was held to be non-eligible. By Order passed by the Assistant Commissioner, G South which is at page 27 of the paper book, the Petitioner was held to be eligible slum dweller. 3) In this view of the matter, the Petitioner made a representation on 21st November, 2022 to the Deputy Registrar Co-operative Societies, Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Bandra (East) for allotment of flat under the SRA scheme. The Petitioner also made a representation to the Estate 1/2

Manoj 909-WP-4094-2024.doc Department of the SRA on 10th August, 2023. Being an eligible slum dweller, the Petitioner is entitled to a PAP premise. 4) In such view of the matter, we have heard Ms. Sabharwal, learned Counsel for the Respondent Nos.1, 3 & 4 - SRA. 5) We accordingly direct the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, SRA Bandra (East) and the Estate Department, SRA to take an appropriate decision on the representations dated 21st November, 2022 and 10th August, 2023, which are at page nos.47 & 49 of the paper book expeditiously and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this Order. The decision on the representations be taken by the Competent Authority i.e., Assistant Registrar of Bombay City. 6) Petition is disposed of.
