The corporation has entered an affidavit dated 22nd November, 2024 along with the Annexures ( 9 pages). The copy of the same is served on the learned Advocate for the BEST, in the Court. We grant time to the BEST to file its counter affidavit on or before 29th November, 2024.

List this Writ Petition on 4th December, 2024 at 2.30 pm
for further hearing.

We make it clear to the parties that we would be inclined to direct the BEST to pay the further 35% amount of the outstanding dues, in the light of the reasons assigned in the order dated 10th May, 2024 after hearing the parties.

Since the affidavits are being filed in the first Writ Petition No.913 of 2024, we expect the learned Counsel for the Petitioners to arrange the affidavits date wise and correct the pagination so as to paginate each of them in continuation with the petition paper book.
