The petitioner has made the following prayers in this writ petition : "(a) That the Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order thereby quashing and setting aside the Government Resolution dated 16th November 2022 (Exhibit "G" hereto) and 23rd December 2022 (Exhibit "I" hereto) to the extent of notifying the position of Director, National Education Policy as suitable for persons with a disability of vision under Right to Persons with Disability Act, 2016 and to the extent of appointing the Petitioner as the Director, National Education Policy;
(b) That the Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order and direction thereby directing the Respondents to reinstate the Petitioner to his original post i.e. Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra State, Pune;
(c) Pending the hearing and final disposal of the present Petition, direct the Respondents to reinstate the Petitioner to his original post i.e. Director, Higher Education, Maharashtra State, Pune;
d) appropriate interim/ad-interim reliefs in prayer clauses 1/2 15-WP-5293-2024.doc

(e) Costs of the present Petition be provided for. (f) Such and other further reliefs be granted in favour of the petitioner as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper:"

Mr. Kelkar, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos.1 and 2 has raised a serious objection to maintainability of this writ petition on the ground that the petitioner has an efficacious remedy under Section 15(1)(b) of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. 3.
From the pleadings in this writ petition, we do not find any exceptional ground made out by the petitioner for entertaining this writ petition, and therefore, we would dispose of this petition without adverting to the merits of the matter, but, with a liberty to the petitioner to approach the Tribunal.
