TP/379/2025 (E-filing) Mr. Chirag Chanani, Advocate for petitioner PC : 1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain debts and securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Gautam Prabodh Chaudhuri being brother-in-law of deceased. Deceased namely Rooma Swapankumar Chaudhuri said to be died intestate at Mumbai on 19.06.2016. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of Election Card is already annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Husband of deceased predeceased the deceased who died on 04.07.2014. Father of deceased predeceased the deceased. Mother of husband of deceased since deceased the deceased. Son of deceased namely Rahul Swapan Chaudhuri since deceased the deceased who died on 16.04.2023 and he was divorcee and had no children from the said wedlock. Deceased was survived by one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Out of them brother-inlaw is petitioner herein and both the sisters-in-law have given their consents. Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice and Administration Bond are filed. Delay is explained in para No. 10 of the petition. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
