This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Venkatesan Vembu being son of deceased. Deceased namely V Janaki alias Vembu Janaki said to be died intestate at Chennai on 05.01.1996. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition as Exhibit - "A". Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 04.04.2024 for dispensation of Identification proof of deceased, which is annexed to the petition as Exhibit - "B".

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that mother of deceased predeceased the deceased. One daughter of deceased namely Vijayalakshmi Murali has been missing since 14.04.1988. Deceased was survived by two daughters, one son, one son-in-law and one grandson. Out of them son is petitioner herein and all other legal heirs have given their consents. Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 21.02.2025 and Administration Bond dated 01.03.2025 is filed. Delay is explained. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
