Heard Ms. Premachandran, learned Advocate for Petitioner. 2.

The Affidavit from Applicant of Petitioner seeking inventory of locker belonging to the deceased has been filed. By virtue of the said Affidavit, deletion of one locker from the list of assets is sought whereas in respect of the second locker, the inventory is already given by Petitioner. In so far as prayer clause (b) is concerned she would submit that Branch Manager of Central Bank of India has prior to the filing of the Petition already made a detailed inventory of the said locker and endorsed the same as per on page No.12 of the Affidavit. 3.

She would submit that the said inventory is made in the presence of witnesses, and hence it may be accepted as due compliance for the purpose of considering the same for issuing the Grant. 4.

The request made by Ms. Premachandran on the basis of the

22.TP.546.2025.doc documents appended to the Affidavit dated 12.08.2025 is accepted by Court.

Petitioner is permitted to delete locker No.GA 1030 in Union Bank, Kalbadevi Branch and permitted to amend the Petition accordingly. Amendment is permitted to be carried out within a period of one week from today. Reverification stands dispensed with. 6.

In so far locker / safe No.1504 B in Central Bank of India, Grant Road Branch is concerned, the inventory appended from page Nos.5 to 14 of the Affidavit is permitted to be taken on record. 7.

Department shall therefore proceed with issuance of Grant on due compliances thereafter.
