1. Perused Petition which is filed online. Heard Ld. Advocate for the Petitioner. This Petition is for Probate of Last Will and Testament of the deceased filed by the Petitioner Anthony Angelo Alvares, being the Sole Executor named under the Will of the deceased.

Deceased Miss Lourdes Martho Pinto alias Lourdes Pinto alias L Pinto alias L. M. Pinto, said to have died at Mumbai on 30.08.2022.

Copy of death certificate is annexed to the Petition. For identification proof of the deceased, copy of Aadhaar Card is annexed to the Petition.

2. Ms. Wadhwani, Advocate for the Petitioner submits that deceased left behind her last Will and Testament which was duly executed at Mumbai, on 06.05.2020. The said Will is in English language.

3. Ms. Wadhwani, Advocate for the Petitioner submits that deceased was governed under the Indian Succession Act 1925 applicable to Christian. It is submitted the parents of the deceased have predeceased the deceased. The said deceased had two brothers and two sisters as her only legal heirs. That Cajetan Joseph Pinto, brother of the deceased pre-deceased the deceased on 04.07.1998 as bachelor. That

) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) Chrysanthos Joaquim Pinto, brother of the deceased pre-deceased the deceased on 24.12.1997 as bachelor. Flaviana Maria Alvares, sister of the deceased predeceased the deceased on 05.07.2000 leaving behind her only son Anthony Angelo Alvares, and had no· daughter. That Rita Paula Pinto, sister of the deceased predeceased the deceased on 06.03.1990 as Spinster. Save and except as mentioned in para - 8, there are no other legal heirs and next of kin left by the deceased.

4. Petitioner's Oath is filed. Affidavit of Nandini N. Katre, one of the attesting witness to the Will is filed. Affidavit of service of General Citation is filed. All the Affidavits are also filed online. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, Petition is granted.

5. Office to issue Probate as prayed after verifying whether any Cross Petition or Caveat is filed.
