This petition is filed for the properties and credits of the deceased persons namely Murlidhar Kishandas Menda and Maya Murlidhar Menda. The immovable property is alleged to be owned by the deceased No. 1 and 2. The said property is situated at Navi Mumbai.

As per sec. 270 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 this court has jurisdiction to entertain the petition filed in respect of the deceased No. 1, as his fix place of adobe was in Mumbai.

However, the deceased no. 2's fix place of abode was at Navi Mumbai, which is not within local limit of this Court. Furthermore, the property, which is alleged to be in the name of the deceased No. 1 and 2, is not situated within local limit of this Court (i.e. at Navi Mumbai). Hence, question arises as to jurisdiction to entertain the petition in respect of the deceased No. 2 . Hence, the petitioner to take steps.
