TP/4393/2024 (E-filing) Ms. Sheetal Shah a/w. Megha Chobadia i/b. Mehta and Girdharlal, Advocate for petitioner P.C.: 1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely David Harish Mayadas being son of deceased. Deceased namely John Moira Mayadas died intestate at Australia on 12.03.1987. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. Passport is annexed to the petition.

2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased was married to John Anand Sarup Mayadas who died on 19.08.2017. The deceased had two sons and two daughters. Daughter of deceased namely Meera Korte was married and divorced at the time of her death and she had no children. One son is petitioner herein and another daughter has given her consent in favour of petitioner. Consent Affidavits are on record. The other legal heirs namely John Gordon Mayadas has been served through newspaper publication and Affidavit dated 14.12.2024 is filed to that effect. There are no other legal heirs.

3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 03.06.2025 and Administration Bond dated 15.10.2024 are filed. Delay is explained and the same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
