TP/4937/2024 (E-filing) Mr. U. L. Shah, Advocate for petitioner PC : 1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Succession Certificate in respect of certain securities belonging to deceased filed by petitioner namely Lalita Ananthanarayanan being daughter-in-law of deceased. Deceased namely Ayakad Subramanian Thangamal died intestate at Mumbai on 09.12.1987. Copy of death certificate is annexed to the petition. Petitioner has filed Affidavit dated 27.10.2023 for dispensation of identification proof of deceased. The same is accepted.
2. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that parents of deceased predeceased the deceased. Deceased had one son and three daughters. Son of deceased died on 19.10.1989 leaving behind his widow and three daughters. One daughter of deceased died on 20.01.1992 and her husband died in the year 2017. She died issue-less. Another daughter of deceased namely Rugmani died issue-less. Deceased was survived by one daughter, one daughter-in-law and three granddaughters. Out of them daughter-in-law is petitioner herein and the daughter and three granddaughters have given their consents in favour of petitioner herein. Consent Affidavits are on record. There are no other legal heirs.
3. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Service of affixation of General Notice dated 09.01.2025 and Administration Bond dated 10.03.2025 are filed. Delay is explained and same is condoned. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
