Ld. advocate for the petitioner seeks time to take steps in the matter, as per the earlier Order and to comply the requisitions as provisions of the Chapter XXVI of the Bombay High Court (OS) Rules, 1980. Hence, time is granted and thus the petition is adjourned for the steps.

Advocate by the praecipe dated 20.11.2025, requested to issue letters to the concerned banks for disclosing the details about the accounts and / locker numbers as well as amount due to the deceased out of these accounts. Considering the reasons stated therein, it is proper to allow the prayer. Accordingly, the department is directed to issue letter to the consented bank(s) for disclosing the required information as to the accounts and/or locker's number as well as amount standing in the accounts for taking out the necessary proceedings.
