1. Perused Petition. Heard Ld. Advocate for petitioner. This petition is for Probate of last Will and Testament of deceased filed by petitioner namely Poonam Ganesh Salaskar being sole Executor named under the Will of deceased. The deceased namely Anant Somaji Rane is said to have died at Mumbai on 16.05.2023. Copy of the death certificate is annexed to the petition. Identification proof of deceased viz. copy of the Aadhaar Card is annexed to the petition.

2. The deceased left behind his last Will and Testament which was duly executed at Mumbai on 08.03.2023. The said Will is in Marathi language hence, Affidavit of Advocate for petitioner dated 24.02.2025 for certifying the translation of the Will is true and correct is filed. The Para No. 4 of the Will refers to the appointment of Executor. Only one Executor appointed under the Will.

3. Ld. Advocate for petitioner submits that mother of deceased predeceased the deceased. One son Sanjay Anant Rane expired on 06.09.2024 leaving behind two daughters. Sanjay Rane had divorced his wife by divorce decree dated 06.09.2021 passed by the Family Court, Mumbai. The deceased was survived by a widow, one son, and two granddaughters. Out of them widow and two granddaughters have given their consents in favour of the petitioner. Consent Affidavits are on record. Son of deceased namely Ravindrakumar Anant Rane has been served the citation and Affidavit of Service dated 27.02.2025 is filed to that effect which is approved on the CIS system on 15.04.2025. There are no other legal heirs.

4. Petitioner's oath is filed. Affidavit of Santosh Vasant Kelkar dated 19.11.2024 one of the Attesting Witness to the Will is filed. Affidavit of Service of General Citation dated 27.01.2025 is filed. All other legal formalities are complied with. Hence, petition is granted.
