This Petition seeks issuance of a Legal Heirship Certificate under Section 2 of the Bombay Regulation VII of 1827 in respect of one Vijay Raghunath Bavkar ("the deceased"), who passed away at Shringartali, Taluka Guhagar, District Ratnagiri on or about 9th March 2024. A copy of the death certificate is annexed to the Petition as Exhibit 'A'.

Learned Advocate Dr. Jyoti Panickar for the Petitioner submits that the names of the heirs and next of kin, as per Section 15(a) of the Hindu Succession Act, 1956, are set out by SANDHYA BHAGU WADHWA Date:

22-MPT-292-2025 .DOC in paragraph No. 3 of the Petition. He further submits that the reason for which the Legal Heirship Certificate is sought is set out in paragraph No.6 of the Petition. 3.
In view of the aforesaid submissions and the material placed on record, the Petition is allowed. The requirement of proclamation is dispensed with.

Petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) which reads as follows:- "(a) That the Heirship Certificate may be granted certifying the Petitioner Mrs. Pooja Vijay Bavkar is the wife of deceased and Mr.
Gaurav Vijay Bavkar and Mr. Sahil Vijay Bavkar are the sons of the deceased to be declared as the legal heir and legal representative of the deceased Mr. Vijay Raghunath Bavkar under the provision of Bombay Regulation Act VIII of 1827."
