IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

ORDINARY ORIGINAL CIVIL JURISDICTION CONTEMPT PETITION NO.68 OF 2024 IN WRIT PETITION NO.4438 OF 2022 Arvind Kamalakant Pingle ....Petitioner

Versus

Iqbal Chahal and Anr.

....Respondents ---- Mr. Arvind Pingle, the Petitioner in person.

Mr. Arsh Mishra for the Respondents.

---- CORAM : RAVINDRA V. GHUGE & ASHWIN D. BHOBE, JJ.

DATE : 13th NOVEMBER, 2024 P.C. :- 1.

The Petitioner is a retired employee, who had approached this Court in Writ Petition No.4438 of 2022. By an order dated 21st March, 2023, the Respondents were directed to decide the representation of the Petitioner, which was placed on record at page no.49 in the said petition paper book, within three months. Prima facie, we find that neither the Respondents have initiated any steps for deciding the representation within three months, nor have the Respondents moved an Interim Application before us seeking enlargement of time.

2.

The Petitioner in person submits that he has been made to run from pillar to post, though he has a crystalised right. Had he not Gauri Gaekwad

35.CONPW-68-2024(O).odt filed this Contempt Petition, both the Respondents would have not have cared to decide the representation despite the order of this Court.

3.

Since it is contended that Respondent No.2 has not obeyed our order, we are issuing notice in the format prescribed under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to Respondent No.2, returnable on 11th December 2024.
