1. CHOL/384/2024 in WP/2093/2024 Mr. Rupesh Geete i/b Satyaki Law Assocs., Advocate for the Petitioner (Applicant).

1. This Chamber Order is taken out by Advocate Satyaki Law Associates (Applicant) seeking discharge on behalf of Petitioner in Writ Petition No. 2093 of 2024.

2. The applicant has filed Affidavit of service dated 23.08.2024. Inspite of service, none appears on behalf of the Petitioner.

3. Perused Chamber Order and Affidavit in support thereof. Paragraphs - 1 and 2 are relevant which are reproduced here under;

1. By my email dated 9th May 2024 addressed to the Petitioner, which was served upon the Petitioner, it was intimated to the Petitioner about our intention to withdraw our appearance from the matter on his behalf. The Petitioner was informed that the undersigned would not be in a position to represent the Petitioner in the proceedings pending before this Hon'ble Court. In discharge of professional obligation, the undersigned has peremptorily issued a No Objection Certificate to enable the Petitioner to engage a Lawyer/Advocate of his choosing to represent him in the said proceeding. The Undersigned made it clear that he would be in no position to continue to represent the Petitioner. Hereto annexed is a copy of the Email dated 9th May 2024 and Email dated 25th June 2024 "Exhibit-A" and Exhibit "B" respectively.

2. The undersigned assiduously followed up with the Petitioner for the Petitioner to take the necessary steps, deeds and action in that regard. I say that despite receipt of the email, Petitioner has failed to appoint any new Advocate to represent him in the matter.

4. I am satisfied that the Applicant has substantially complied with the procedure for obtaining discharge under High Court, Original Side Rules read with the provisions and Rules framed under the Advocates Act.

5. In view of above, Chamber Order is allowed and signed separately. Advocate, Satyaki Law Associates have been discharged on behalf of Petitioner Ajay Haridas Ganatra in Writ Petition No. 2093 of 2024. Office to delete the name of Advocate Satyaki Law Associates as Advocate for the Petitioner. Advocate, Satyaki Law Associates, to communicate this Order to Petitioner and thereafter, Petitioner to engage another Advocate, if he so desires.

6. Chamber Order is disposed of accordingly.
