The present Chamber Order is taken out by the applicant for setting aside Order dated 04.03.2024 r/w. Order dated 30.07.2024, rejecting captioned Petition under O.S.Rule 986 for non-compliance of office objections.

Ld. Advocate for the applicant filed Affidavit of Service dated 18.06.2025, showing service of Chamber Order upon respondent no. 4 by way of Paper Publication, on record. Ld. Advocate submits that rest of the respondents were already served as per Affidavits of Service, filed on record. Despite service, none appeared for the respondents, save and except, Ld. A.G.P for respondent-State.

Heard Ld. Advocate for the applicant. Perused Affidavit in Support, contents of which are self-explanatory. It is contended that office objections with regard to replacement of pages and correction of pagination were complied with, however, concerned Officer was on leave at the relevant time due to which captioned Petition could not be numbered. Ld. Advocate submits that now he will pursue with the captioned Petition diligently and prays for restoration of captioned Petition.

Grounds mentioned on oath, appear to be genuine. Moreover, none appeared for and on behalf of the respondents, save and except, Ld. A.G.P for State, who submits for passing suitable orders. In my view, the applicant had made an attempt to remove office objections,

CHOL/418/2024 in WPL/31921/2022 ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) ) but captioned Petition could not be numbered as stated above. Therefore, one more opportunity is required to be granted to the applicant. Hence, in the interest of justice, the present Chamber Order is granted as prayed and signed separately.

The petitioner to remove office objections on the Petition and get the same registered and/or numbered within four weeks from the date of uploading of order, failing Petition to stand rejected for non-compliance of office objections under O.S.Rule 986.
