The Petitioner is a Chartered Accountant. The Petitioner, in this Public Interest Litigation has assailed the validity of Section 154(B)(13) introduced in the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960 with effect from 9th October 2019 on the ground that the same is unconstitutional. 2.

Admittedly, the Petitioner is not an aggrieved person. Therefore, at his instance, we are not inclined to examine the validity of the statutory provision in a Public Interest Litigation. However, the issue with regard to 1/2

With the aforesaid liberty, the Public Interest Litigation is disposed of.
