By the Official Liquidator's Report, the Official Liquidator seeks the following directions :

"(a) In view of paragraph 9 hereinabove, whether this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow the Official Liquidator to pay Mr.J.S. Solomon from Solomon & Co as per the scale of fees mentioned in paragraph 6 in the Official Liquidator Report No.189 of 2015.;

(b) If the prayer clause (a) is affirmative, In view of paragraph 13 hereinabove, whether this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow the Official Liquidator to pay the outstanding professional fees to the Legal Advisor Mr. J.S. Solomon, Advocate and Solicitor from Solomon & Co. for a sum of Rs.1,65,58,750/- (rupees One Crore Sixty Five Shrikant Malani

909.OLR.70.2024.doc Lakhs Fifty Eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Only) as per bills submitted by him for the period from 21st February 2015 to 28th February 2024 and to issue a cheque in favour of Solomon & Co after deducting TDS from the fund lying to the credit of the Company (In Liqn).;"

As regards direction sought at clause (a), this Court has perused paragraph No.9 of the OLR and in that light, the said direction deserves to be granted, particularly in view of the contents of the paragraph No.6 of the earlier Official Liquidator's Report No.189 of 2015. 3.

The OLR gives details of the outstanding bills of the Solicitor in paragraph No.12 and thereafter at paragraph No.13, the Official Liquidator proposes to pay the outstanding professional fees of the Solicitor. The learned counsel appearing for the Official Liquidator, on instructions, makes a statement that the office of the Official Liquidator has verified from the records and it is found that the said outstanding bills are in order and that amounts stated in the bills are required to be paid for the services provided by the Solicitor.

In view of the above, the Official Liquidator's Report is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b).
