The matter was heard for sometime. Both the learned counsel for the parties have taken the Court briefly through the pleadings, mainly the arbitration clause, the notice invoking arbitration and the relevant material correspondence between the parties. After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the respondent referred to the affidavit in reply dated 3 December 2024, where the respondents have raised a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of the application filed by the applicant under section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996. 2.

The learned counsel for the applicant seeks time to file a rejoinder. Accordingly, liberty is granted to file the rejoinder, which shall be filed within a period of two weeks from today. A copy of the said rejoinder be served on the learned counsel for the respondent well in advance. 3.
