This is a Petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act"), seeking an extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, which had expired on October 19, 2024. This Application has been filed in anticipation on July 17, 2024. 2.

Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the Applicant tenders an affidavit tenders an affidavit enclosing an email from the Respondent expressing consent for an extension by twelve months. January 30, 2025 Shraddha

In the circumstances, taking into account the stage at which the Arbitral proceedings are placed, this Petition is finally disposed of extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, for a period of twelve months, i.e., until January 23, 2026.
