This Petition has been filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act") seeking extension of mandate of the arbitral tribunal, which is conducting arbitration proceedings. 2.

The mandate of the arbitral tribunal had expired on March 25, 2024 and this Petition was filed in July 2024. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that this is the third extension being sought, but considering the advanced stage of the proceedings, she submits that an extension by a period of six months would suffice.

Considering that this is the third extension, and based on the submission that proceedings are at an advanced stage, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is hereby extended by a period of three months from today i.e. until April 16, 2025.

The Petition is finally disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
