This is a Petition under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act").

The mandate of the arbitrator had originally expired on April 4, 2023, for which a Petition had been filed on May 15, 2023. By an Order dated September 20, 2024, a Learned Single Judge of this Court was pleased to extend the mandate for a period of eight weeks, which has also expired on November 16, 2024. This Petition has been filed seeking a further extension.

Today when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the parties jointly submit that if the mandate is extended by a period of six by AARTI GAJANAN PALKAR Date:

In these circumstances, the Petition is finally disposed extending the mandate of the arbitrator to pass of a final Award within a period of six months from today i.e. until July 6, 2025. 5.
The Petition is finally disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.
All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
