This Petition has been filed under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ("the Act"), seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal by a period of three months pursuant to an e-mail dated December 3, 2024 from the arbitral tribunal to the parties, requesting them to seek such extension. The mandate of the arbitral tribunal had expired on December 15, 2024. by AARTI GAJANAN PALKAR Date:

Today, when the matter is called out, Learned Counsel for the parties jointly submit that the proceeding had been divided into two stages, and depending on the outcome on the first stage, the tribunal may or may not have to deal with the second stage of the proceeding. 4.

In these circumstances, at this stage, the mandate of the arbitral tribunal is extended by a period of three months from today i.e. until April 20, 2025.

The Petition is finally disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.

All actions required to be taken pursuant to this order shall be taken upon receipt of a downloaded copy as available on this Court's website.
